ISLA BERLIN Gianna Shamone Finding Me

The poetry in this book is about self-love, healing, self-development and womanhood and is accompanied by illustrations the author made of her photography work.

It was written during a time-frame of three years and put together during the first quarantine time in 2020. 

It descibes the journey of the author back to herself after a heavy break-up.

Gianna Shamone a Berlin based self-taught analog photographer and video director, started to use her writing, which was always a coping strategy to understand the ups and downs of life, as another medium of creative expression and put together her first book „FINDING ME“ in the beginning of 2020.
